We’ve included answers to common questions about Trash Fairies valet service below, including service timing, guidelines, and expectations. If you don’t see your question addressed below, please use the service form at the bottom of this page for assistance.

Service Time:
Pickup occurs after 8:00 PM on your scheduled service nights.Set Out Window:
Please place your container outside your door between 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.Bring Back Inside:
Empty Containers should be retrieved by 9:00 AM the following morning.*Service days vary by property. Please follow the schedule provided by your property management team.

To keep service efficient and clean for everyone:
Use standard 12.5-gallon kitchen bags, securely tied
Place all trash inside your designated container
Pickups are limited to two bags per night
Extra bags must be stacked neatly inside or directly on top of the container
Do not overfill containers
Break down cardboard boxes
No loose trash, please. If it can roll away, leak, or surprise us, it shouldn’t be out there.

If recycling is offered at your property, please:
Use approved or clear recycling bags
Flatten boxes
Avoid food contamination, plastic bags, styrofoam, aerosol/paint cans, electronics, and hazardous waste
Follow any property-specific recycling instructions
Remember: Clean and dry recyclables keep the whole system working.

We are unable to collect:
Loose trash
Liquids
Hazardous materials
Furniture or bulk items (unless coordinated through your property management team)
Construction debris

Severe weather or major holidays may impact service timing.
Service will not be completed on the following holidays:
New Year’s Eve
New Year’s Day
Easter
Memorial Day
July 4th
Labor Day
Halloween
Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day
